I Need Your Help
I NEED YOUR HELP
WILL YOU HELP ME REACH MY GOAL OF BECOMING A PUBLISHED AUTHOR?
It's been a minute. That's because I've been working on something special.
Thank you for listening to and spreading the word about my podcast, Dreams of Black Wall Street. As you know, each season takes a deep dive into some of America's early African American communities and the massacres that those communities suffered. I realized that producing episodes about the more than 130 massacres and attacks on Black American communities that date back at least to the 18th century would take an incredibly long amount of time. So, I decided to create a book about this period in history. After YEARS of hard work, I recently finished the first draft of that book. Although I am almost at the finish line, I need help covering the professional support required to prepare it for publication.
Because this is a non-fiction history book, accuracy is paramount. The funds I raise will cover the cost of a researcher, a copy editor, and a proofreader to ensure the book is carefully reviewed and published correctly.
If you care about this history like I do, I would appreciate it if you would consider donating to my GoFundMe fundraising campaign so that my dream of publishing this book becomes a reality. No amount is too little, and every bit of support helps. If you can give or share this fundraiser, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Nia Clark
